Crossroad Energy Solutions is currently seeking a Canadian Journeyman Instrument Technician (Red Seal) for immediate work in the Bakken Region (North Dakota).

The successful candidate:
- Has a safety-first mindset
- Canadian Journeyman Instrument Technician (Red Seal) with 6+ years of upstream and midstream oil & gas instrumentation experience
- Strong experience working at compressor stations, wellsites, SWDs, CTBs, and production facilities
- Experience completing instrumentation installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs
- Experience installing, calibrating, and maintaining instrumentation and control systems
- Experience with field automation systems, RTUs, PLCs, and industrial control systems
- Tube bending experience
- Experience troubleshooting instrumentation and operational process issues while providing technical solutions
- Works closely with operations, electrical, and automation teams
- Performs well in a team environment
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual
- Willing to travel and work flexible hours when required
- Displays a self-motivated, strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Has a clean criminal record required for U.S. work visa processing
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
- PLC, RTU, or automation programming
- Control systems and VFD/VSD applications
- Previous upstream oilfield instrumentation experience
Preference will also be given to candidates who currently hold:
- One Basin, One Way
- SafeLand
- First Aid/CPR
- H2S Clear
- Fall Arrest
- NFPA 70E (Arc Flash)
- Aerial Lift
