We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting the organization's IT infrastructure, networks, systems, and applications by implementing security controls, monitoring threats, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards. The successful candidate should possess strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with security technologies, cloud security, and incident response.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise cybersecurity solutions.
- Monitor security events using SIEM tools and investigate potential threats.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing coordination, and risk analysis.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, endpoint protection, and security monitoring tools.
- Respond to cybersecurity incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Implement identity and access management (IAM) controls.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to ensure secure system design.
- Conduct security audits and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Stay up to date with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, or security engineering.
- Strong understanding of network security, endpoint security, cloud security, and identity management.
- Experience with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, or LogRhythm.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR/XDR solutions, VPNs, and vulnerability management tools.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, or PCI DSS.
- Experience securing Windows and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud security services.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
