Qualifications – Ontario Healthcare Facility
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Minimum of 2 years of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (required)
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) completed within the last 6 months
- Charge nurse experience is considered a strong asset
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 3-month contract
- Ability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Responsibilities:
Registered Nurses (RNs) are required to adhere to the scope of practice as defined by the College of Nurses of Ontario. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Conducting comprehensive resident assessments, developing nursing care plans, and evaluating resident outcomes
- Administering medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions while monitoring resident responses
- Collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality, resident-centered care
- Supervising and supporting Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) and Personal Support Workers (PSWs) while promoting best practices
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
- Acting as the charge nurse when required by coordinating unit operations, providing clinical leadership, and responding to resident care needs
Note: Duties may vary slightly based on facility and shift, with specific guidance provided during site orientation.
Experience:
- 2 years of relevant Long-Term Care (LTC) nursing experience (required)
- Current experience working in a Canadian healthcare setting
- Charge nurse experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment
