Job Description
We are seeking a CNC Programmer and Operator with experience programming and operating HAAS CNC machines using G-code. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working with custom and production parts.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate HAAS CNC machines using G-code.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and engineering specifications.
- Select tooling, fixtures, and workholding for each job.
- Perform offsets, tool changes, and machine adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make program or setup corrections.
- Maintain quality, safety, and organization in the shop.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of CNC programming and operating experience preferred.
- Strong experience with HAAS controls and G-code programming.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances.
- Experience using precision measuring tools.
- Knowledge of machining practices, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
- CAM software experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
