About Us:
Sapporo Sushi is a busy All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) restaurant known for fresh, high-quality Japanese cuisine. We are looking for a reliable, fast-paced, and customer-friendly team member to manage our growing takeout and delivery operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process takeout orders in person and over the phone.
- Handle cashier duties (POS system, cash/credit card transactions, end-of-day reconciliation).
- Manage and monitor orders from various delivery platforms (UberEats, DoorDash, SkipTheDishes, etc.).
- Ensure order accuracy, packaging quality, and timely handoff to drivers or customers.
- Provide excellent customer service for takeout guests and assist with basic front-of-house tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience specifically handling takeout orders in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
- Familiarity with delivery platforms (UberEats, DoorDash, and similar apps – both merchant portal and tablet management).
- Fluent in English & Mandarin/Cantonese (spoken).
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to work under pressure during peak hours.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable using a POS system.
- Available for evenings and weekends (AYCE restaurant hours).
Required:
- Experience in an AYCE or high-volume sushi restaurant.
