We are currently searching for a reliable and personable live-in Resident Manager for multiple properties within our HRM portfolio.
Please note: The Resident Manager will be required to live in the building and a portion of the annual salary is deducted to account for rent costs.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Interacting with Tenants in a pleasant and professional manner
- Responsible for showings and leasing inquiries
- Daily cleaning of hallways, common areas, and exterior grounds
- Salting and light shoveling of snow in front the buildings / entrances as needed until snow contractors arrive
- Ensuring garbage room is cleaned daily and tidy
- General light maintenance of buildings (eg. caulking sinks and tubs, change light bulbs, etc) and ability to troubleshoot issues for upper management.
- Being available throughout the day to provide access for trades/contractors into buildings/units as necessary
- Providing lock out services to tenants
- Communicating tenant requests and concerns to upper management
- Report weekly to upper management assigned
The successful candidate will receive a unit within our portfolio. While you will be responsible for your own electricity and tenant insurance, we will provide cable/TV package, internet, and a cell phone. The successful candidate will also be eligible to join our health and dental plan.
This role is suitable for a retired person, or a couple - of which at least one individual is available throughout the day regularly. Applicants with other secondary employment will need to prioritize this position and be available when needed.
Note that all of our properties are non-smoking, and we allow limited pets.
