DK Group Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Lamination Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and optimizing lamination equipment to produce high-quality laminated products that meet customer and company standards. You will play a key role in ensuring production efficiency, maintaining product quality, troubleshooting equipment and process issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individual looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing.
What You’ll Do
- Set up, adjust, and operate lamination equipment according to product specifications and production schedules
- Monitor machine performance and make process adjustments to ensure optimal product quality and efficiency
- Load, align, and prepare materials for lamination while verifying proper machine settings
- Inspect finished products for quality, appearance, adhesion, and compliance with specifications
- Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment, material, and process issues to minimize downtime and waste
- Perform routine equipment cleaning, maintenance, and preventive maintenance activities
- Record production data, quality checks, material usage, and downtime accurately
- Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet production goals and customer requirements
- Follow all health, safety, and manufacturing procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and waste reduction
What You’ll Bring
- Experience operating lamination equipment or similar manufacturing machinery
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment and production issues
- High attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality products
- Ability to read and follow production specifications, work instructions, and quality standards
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; manufacturing, technical, or industrial training is an asset
