We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Oversee all aspects of food production, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Develop menus in collaboration with management, incorporating innovative dishes and seasonal ingredients
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs
- Train and mentor team members to uphold quality standards and foster a positive work environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area according to safety standards
- Serve as a role model in hospitality, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions with staff and guests
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management, food industry, or hospitality settings
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling
- Supervising experience with team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and service excellence
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on serving guests’ needs
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred; culinary training or certifications are a plus
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
