We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Fiber Optic Technician to join our team. Duties
- Assist in the installation and termination of fiber optic cables and related hardware
- Use hand tools to prepare, splice, and connect fiber optic cables accurately
- Perform basic troubleshooting of optical network infrastructure.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with network drawings.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used
- Follow safety protocols during all phases of installation and maintenance activities
Experience
- Prior experience or familiarity with telecommunication cabling would be an asset but training will be provided
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience working with hand tools is advantageous
- Strong interest in developing skills within the telecommunications industry
- Ability to work safely in various outdoor environments and follow detailed instructions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role

Bravocon is engaged on projects across Ontario and Saskatchewan requiring skills with trenching, aerial work, fiber splicing, internal piping, MDU wiring, cabling maintenance, cable construction, and replacement of underground cabling. We are looking for experienced or trainable people with a strong work ethic that are looking for a lifetime career. Travel may be required.
Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
