Overview
We are looking for a full-time Parts/Service Advisor to join our growing motorsports service department in Peace River, Alberta. Thomas Homes and RV Centre is an authorized BRP dealer (Ski-Doo and Can-Am), recreational vehicle and manufactured home dealer. We also carry a variety of parts, apparel, and accessories in store. We are looking for friendly, motivated, powersport enthusiasts to join our team. Wage will be determined based on knowledge and experience.
Duties
- Provides excellent customer service to respond to customer inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely manner, over the phone and in person.
- Deals with challenging situations in a professional manner.
- Keeps up to date on in-store promotions, in-store deals, specials, and product locations.
- Sources and orders parts for customers through authorized suppliers
- Follows established procedures for ordering and sale of parts and providing clear repair recommendations to service customers.
- Communicate with Vendors about proper returns, and warranties as needed.
- Stocks shelves and merchandise display areas
- Maintains inventory accuracy and identifies/reports low stock levels to order
- Discuss with mechanics any problems and repairs needed for each work order
- Any other duties may be assigned based on the dealerships needs & requirements
Requirements
- Previous dealership experience is highly preferred, with a understanding of motorsports/RV systems.
- Mechanic experience or background in motorsport/RV repair is a plus, providing insight into customer needs.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proven ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong sales acumen with experience in upselling products or services.
- Proficient cash handling skills to manage transactions accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Good health, physical mobility and physical ability to lift 30 lbs
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving abstract
