The Cottage at Uptown is a magical holiday destination where children and families can meet Santa, share in the spirit of the season, and capture beautiful, professional holiday photos. As one of Uptown's signature holiday experiences, The Cottage has become a cherished annual tradition, creating joyful moments and lasting memories for thousands of guests each holiday season.
We are looking for an exceptional Santa who can bring warmth, authenticity, and holiday magic to every visit. This role is about more than wearing the suit, it is about creating meaningful connections, making every child feel welcome, and delivering a memorable experience that families will treasure for years to come.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome every guest with warmth, enthusiasm, and holiday spirit.
- Create memorable and magical interactions with children, families, and guests of all ages.
- Pose for professional photos while ensuring each family has a positive and enjoyable experience.
- Engage children in conversation and helping them feel comfortable and excited.
- Adapt interactions to accommodate children with varying comfort levels, abilities, and needs.
- Work closely with event staff, and Santa's helpers to ensure an efficient guest experience.
- Remain in character throughout each shift to maintain the magic of the experience.
- Follow the daily schedule and be punctual and dependable throughout the holiday season.
- Help maintain a welcoming, festive, and family-friendly environment.
- Must have a real beard.
Schedule
- Seasonal position from November through December 23(approximately six weeks).
- Candidates must be available for the full six-week season
- Seeking candidates who are available to work 2–3 days per week
