Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and client-focused Registered Nurse Injector to join our growing medical aesthetics team. The ideal candidate is confident in delivering safe, natural-looking aesthetic treatments while providing an exceptional patient experience. This individual is committed to ongoing education, evidence-based practice, and maintaining the highest standards of patient care. They are also excited about collaborating with a team and interested in wellness services such as: Hormonal replacement, IV therapy, iron deficiency, and GLP-1 Agonist therapy.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive aesthetic consultations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer cosmetic injectable treatments, including neuromodulators, dermal fillers and biostimulators.
- Assess patient suitability, review medical histories, obtain informed consent, and educate clients on treatment expectations.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely medical documentation.
- Manage treatment complications appropriately and follow established emergency protocols.
- Provide pre- and post-treatment education and follow-up care.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients through exceptional service and clinical excellence.
- Stay current with industry advancements, new products, and best practices through continuing education.
- Ensure compliance with provincial nursing standards, infection prevention and control protocols, and clinic policies.
- Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and inventory to clinic standards.
- Support clinic growth through client retention, referrals, and professional representation of the brand.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and clinic initiatives.
QualificationsRequired
- Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Alberta.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience performing cosmetic injectable treatments.
- Minimum 2+ years of bedside nursing experience
- Completion of an accredited injectables course
- Demonstrated experience with neuromodulators and dermal fillers.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Strong understanding of facial anatomy and complication management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
Preferred
- Experience with biostimulators, PRP/PRF, skin rejuvenation procedures, and other aesthetic treatments.
- Experience using electronic medical records (EMRs).
- Existing client following is considered an asset.
