Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are adhered to during food handling and service
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and dining spaces according to sanitation guidelines
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and basic math for transactions
- Experience with food handling, serving, cashiering, and upselling techniques is advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
