Position Overview:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and professional Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness and create a welcoming environment for our guests. This is a part-time role, with shifts ranging from 16 to 32 hours per week. Ideal candidates will be dependable, self-motivated, and possess excellent customer service skills. Training will be provided, and the role requires flexibility, especially on Sundays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms and common areas to the highest standards, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant environment for guests.
- Provide outstanding customer service at all times, addressing guest needs and requests with courtesy and professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house areas and public spaces, ensuring a consistent, high-quality presentation.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and amenities.
- Assist with laundry duties, ensuring the proper care of linens and towels.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure guest satisfaction and health and safety standards are met.
- Work independently while maintaining a positive team environment.
Requirements (Deal Breakers):
- Minimum 1 year experience as Room Attendant or Housekeeper in a hotel or motel.
- Able to clean a standard guest room in 40 minutes or less.
- Experience with check-out and stay-over cleaning
- Familiarity with cleaning protocols and room inspections
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work unsupervised and take initiative.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Flexibility with scheduling, including availability on Sundays.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada and able to provide a Police Information Check as part of employment.
