Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production processes. Duties
- Operate various manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Set up machines according to specifications, including calibration and adjustments.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to support production tasks.
- Assist with material handling, including the use of forklifts when necessary.
- Monitor production quality, identify issues, and troubleshoot machinery problems promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Document production data accurately and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on machinery.
- Experience with manufacturing processes, assembly lines, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow detailed instructions.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is advantageous. This position requires a proactive approach, strong technical skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
