ABOUT THE ROLE
CleanMark Group Inc. is a commercial cleaning company. We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance team.
This is a hands-on role involving day-to-day accounting operations alongside financial analysis and reporting. A significant emphasis of this position is on process automation — the successful candidate will be expected to design, build, and maintain automated workflows that reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy across our finance function.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting Operations
- Record general journal entries and month-end accruals
- Enter and process vendor invoices; manage AP/AR workflows in Business Central
- Perform account reconciliations and support period-end close activities
- Maintain chart of accounts and posting group configurations in Business Central
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare financial statements and management reports in compliance with applicable standards (ASPE, IFRS, or US GAAP as required by entity)
- Build and maintain Power BI financial dashboards and reports for management and operational teams
Automation & Systems
- Build and maintain Power Automate flows that integrate Business Central, SharePoint, Outlook, and other M365 services
- Troubleshoot and improve existing automated workflows; document flow logic and dependencies
- Develop and manage BC configuration packages and data import/export templates
- Design and maintain Excel workbooks using Power Query, PowerPivot, and structured Table formatting for financial modelling and data transformation
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Credentials
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation in Canada or internationally or active enrolment in CPA PEP is considered a strong asset
Accounting Knowledge
- Working knowledge of ASPE (primary), with familiarity in IFRS and/or US GAAP
- Practical experience with journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and period-end close
- Understanding of multi-entity / multi-currency accounting environments
REQUIRED TECHNOLOGY SKILLS
All four of the following skill areas are mandatory. Applications that do not demonstrate proficiency in each will not be considered.

- Knowledge of Quebec labour regulations or BC employment standards
- Experience supporting UK GAAP / IFRS reporting or VAT compliance
- Background in the commercial cleaning, facilities services, or property management industries
