Overview
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration, HVAC systems, and related mechanical equipment across various facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with welding and the ability to interpret schematics. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that ensure the efficient operation of refrigeration and air conditioning systems in a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration units and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for system installation and repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using specialized tools and techniques; repair appliances and mechanical components accordingly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations during all maintenance procedures.
Experience
- Proven experience as a refrigeration mechanic, HVAC technician, or similar role with a solid understanding of mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with reading schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues efficiently.
- Prior experience in maintaining HVAC systems in commercial or industrial settings is preferred. This position requires a dedicated professional capable of handling diverse mechanical tasks while ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations.
Pay: $25.00-$60.00 per hour
