Merchandiser/Part Time Hourly – Kitchener/Waterloo, Cambridge, Tillsonburg, Ingersoll, London, Strathroy, and surrounding areas
Trajectory Beverage Partner, a division of Diamond Estates Wines & Spirits, is a 100% Canadian owned and operated national beverage alcohol sales and marketing agency.
Our team is currently looking for a dynamic individual in the Woodstock, Ontario, area, for the position of part-time Merchandiser. This is a year-round position responsible for servicing grocery retailers in the areas of Kitchener/Waterloo, Cambridge, Tillsonburg, Ingersoll, London, and Strathroy.
Reporting to the District Manager, Ontario and with direction from the Territory Manager, the Merchandiser will provide store level support to the field sales team working to promote Trajectory Beverage Partners premium wine, cider & beer portfolio in the grocery channel and ensuring store level merchandising excellence across the assigned region.
Duties include:
Build and merchandise impactful product displays and support features
Help sell in promotional activities and Trajectory products to maintain inventory within Grocery Accounts
Meet Specific Objectives set by the Territory Manager
Work with retailers to ensure proper rotation of back stock to shelf, displays and fridge space
Ensure upcoming monthly promotions are passed on to the retailers
Apply, maintain, and replace impactful branded point of sale materials in stores. This includes neck tags, backer cards, shelf talkers, case cards, case stackers, price cards, etc.
Ensure all Trajectory Beverage Partner products are appropriately shelved, faced and maintain this positioning on an ongoing basis
Responsible for checking inventory and placing orders
Maintain overall product and display appearance: clean, correctly priced on shelf and in wine and beer fridges
Maintain consistent communication with the area Territory Manager regarding changes in store out of stock inventory, order issues, planograms, competitive changes, etc.
18-24 hours a week including afternoons, occasional evenings, and Saturdays
November & December are blackout periods for Vacation (additional hours may be available)
Requirements:
Physically able to lift 25 kgs
Great communication and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle (rate paid for KM driven within territory)
Proof of insurance required
Smart Serve Certification
Experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Flexibility to work occasional weekends & holiday seasons
Living within the Woodstock, Ontario area is preferred
Background in CPG in Grocery is valuable
