PatCom Medical Inc. is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team part-time (pay based on experience). You’ll be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring that all incoming goods are accurately recorded and outgoing orders are professionally packaged and shipped on time. We are seeking an experienced individual with a background in international shipping, CUSMA compliance, and with knowledge on customs and FDA clearance, who is ready to take on a key role in our organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Inbound Logistics: Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for damage or shortages; verify contents against invoices and packing slips.
- Carrier Coordination: Schedule pickups and coordinate with carriers like DHL, UPS, or Purolator and work closely with our broker for customs and FDA clearance.
- Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Internal Coordination/Communication: working closely with our subsidiaries to ensure smooth transitions of shipments.
- Outbound Shipping: Accurately pick, pack, and label products for outgoing shipments; prepare bills of lading, shipping labels, customs information, and other necessary documentation.
- Shipment Tracking: Ensure that all inbound and outbound shipments are tracked and traced until delivery.
- Claim Management: Filing claims with carriers for lost or damaged shipments, ensuring accurate communication and reporting, and tracking refunds.
- Cost Management: Ensuring that all bookings are cost effective, verifying costs with various carriers and/or freight services.
- Inventory Management: Update internal records or inventory systems to maintain accurate stock levels.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: At least 5 years experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment is required. Knowledge of CUSMA, CARM, CBP, FDA is mandatory. A strong technical background with assembling medical equipment is an asset.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to verifying SKUs and tracking documentation to prevent errors.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, Gmail) and familiarity with inventory management software.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift or move packages (typically up to 50 lbs).
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
