Job Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing stone fabrication and installation projects from initial order through final completion. This role coordinates with customers, sales staff, production, suppliers, and installation teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager monitors schedules, manages project documentation, resolves issues, and maintains excellent customer communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple residential and commercial stone projects simultaneously.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate measurements, templating, fabrication, delivery, and installation schedules.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, designers, and suppliers regarding project progress.
- Prepare and monitor project timelines, budgets, and material requirements.
- Work closely with production and installation teams to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion.
- Identify and resolve project issues, scheduling conflicts, and change orders.
- Conduct site visits as required to verify project conditions and monitor installation progress.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely updates and addressing concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- Experience in project management within the stone, marble, granite, quartz, construction, or renovation industry preferred.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of countertop fabrication and installation processes is an asset.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to read architectural drawings and construction plans.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
