We are looking for a hardworking, reliable Construction Labourer to join our growing excavation and construction team. This position involves a variety of physically demanding tasks on active construction sites and offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced operators and tradespeople.
Responsibilities
- Perform general manual labour on excavation and construction sites.
- Assist with digging, grading, trenching, and site preparation.
- Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist equipment operators and other crew members as required.
Qualifications
- Previous construction or labour experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Assets
- Experience operating heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, skid steers, dozers, etc.) is considered a strong asset.
- Experience working on excavation or civil construction projects is an asset.
- Valid driver's licence (Class 3 or air brake endorsement is an asset).
- Safety certifications (WHMIS, First Aid, Fall Protection, Confined Space, etc.) are considered an asset.
