We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload freight using an electric pallet jack.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
- Inspect vehicles regularly for safety and maintenance needs, reporting any issues promptly
- Maintain proper documentation of deliveries and pickups
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols during transit
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery
Experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
- Prior experience in commercial driving or delivery services is preferred
- Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with freight handling
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
