Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Construction Project Manager at AEGC LTD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Project Manager – Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project planning and execution, including subcontractor selection, scheduling, construction management, and closeout.
- Review detailed estimates and prepare subcontractor scopes of work; issue contracts for all project-related trades.
- Supervise Site Superintendents and Project Coordinators to ensure full compliance with project specifications and contractual obligations.
- Provide regular on-site support and guidance to address issues proactively and ensure smooth field operations.
- Offer technical expertise on contractual and construction-related matters.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor the construction schedule in collaboration with Site Superintendents and the Field Operations Manager to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Oversee and manage all change order documentation and cost implications.
- Coordinate the submission and tracking of RFIs, COs, submittals, and all project documentation with the Project Coordinator and Site Superintendent.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to prepare monthly progress billings and update project cost tracking reports.
Qualifications
- Experience working with municipalities
- Degree or Diploma in a related field
- A background in Civil Engineering is an asset
- Experience in Heavy Civil Construction
- Experience with ICI Construction Management is required
- Experience in underground services is required
- Have completed at least one municipal project over $3M
- Must be able to commute to sites and periodically visit the head office
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills are a must
- Excellent time management and organizational skills – must be able to manage multiple projects effectively, and be able to complete competing priorities
- Knowledge of local regulations and industry standards

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
