Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals committed to high standards of cleanliness.
Duties
- Perform cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to ensure optimal results
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures to meet quality standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning activities
- Ensure all areas are sanitized according to health and safety regulations
Skills
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is a plus
