Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our Kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, in a fast-paced restaurant environment. . Candidates should possess kitchen experience and a commitment to food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
- Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service in a restaurant.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
