Duties
- Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and supporting kitchen staff during busy service times.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and ensuring dining areas remain tidy and welcoming.
- Help with basic food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Contribute to catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with plate assembly when needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to uphold sanitation standards across the kitchen and dining areas.
Skills
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable. but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills; able to support culinary staff during high-volume periods.
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen environment.
