Duties
- Consult with clients to understand their desired hairstyles and provide professional recommendations tailored to their needs
- Perform various hair services including cuts, coloring, styling, blowouts, and special treatments with precision and care
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all workstations and tools to ensure client safety and hygiene
- Upsell retail haircare products by educating clients on their benefits and appropriate usage to enhance their at-home routines
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments efficiently
- Foster excellent communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and build lasting relationships
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education
Requirements
- Proven experience in hair styling and customer service within a salon or similar setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively listen to client needs and provide clear advice
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and maintaining a clean work environment at all times
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while prioritizing client needs
- Excellent organizational skills for managing appointments and front desk duties
- A positive attitude with enthusiasm for creating beautiful looks and delivering memorable client experiences
- Valid cosmetology or hairstyling license as required by local regulations
