Job Description
As our Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will be the creative force behind our public presence. You will lead the charge in shaping our digital identity through compelling social media content, engaging marketing campaigns, and impactful visuals that celebrate our athletes and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Manage and grow Grit Athletics’ platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Content Creation: Develop, script, and edit short marketing commercials, highlight reels, and visually captivating content.
- Event Coverage: Take high-quality photos and videos during track events and practices.
- Campaign Strategy: Assist in developing weekly marketing plans and executing creative campaigns.
- Analytics: Monitor engagement and analytics, reporting back on overall reach and impact.
- Collaboration: Work alongside coaches and athletes to capture the true spirit and energy of the club.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Passion for Sports: A strong interest in sports—especially track and field (prior experience is an asset).
- Digital Savvy: Strong understanding of digital marketing and current social media trends.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with photo and video editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.
- Equipment: Must own a smartphone or camera capable of high-quality photo and video capture.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, a sharp eye for design, and a self-starter mindset.
- Independence: Ability to work independently and attend on-site events in Dartmouth when needed.
Funding Eligibility Requirement: This position is funded through a government grant. To be eligible, applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents legally entitled to work in Canada.
Pay: From $16.75 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Dartmouth, NS B2X 1K8
