We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Member/Supervisor to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee staff performance to meet sales goals and operational targets
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and effective communication skills
- Oversee merchandising strategies, pricing adjustments, and product placement to maximize sales potential
- Conduct recruiting activities including interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members
- Manage payroll processing, cash handling, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, returns, and inventory management
- Develop training programs for staff to enhance skills in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service
- Coordinate marketing initiatives to promote store events or special promotions
- Monitor store budgets, assist with purchasing decisions, and ensure inventory levels meet demand
- Maintain a clean, organized store environment adhering to safety standards
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in retail management or related fields
- Strong background in retail sales, merchandising, and store operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and administrative functions
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to handle pricing strategies effectively
- Multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in phone etiquette and organizational skills
- Experience in marketing, training & development, budgeting, and sales management is desirable
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
