Position Summary
As a Real Estate Software Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain software applications that support property management, client services, and business operations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions that improve operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based and cloud-enabled applications for real estate and property management operations.
- Build responsive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.
- Develop secure backend services, APIs, and database solutions.
- Integrate third-party services such as CRM platforms, payment gateways, mapping services, digital document management tools, and property listing systems.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot software issues and implement effective, long-term solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for software architecture and system integrations.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience developing backend applications using Node.js, .NET, Java, Python, or similar technologies.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and application integration.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing software for the real estate, property management, construction, or PropTech sectors.
- Familiarity with property management systems, CRM platforms, or real estate listing integrations.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud security and application performance optimization.
- Understanding of data analytics, reporting tools, or business intelligence solutions is considered an asset.
