Contract Position | Full-Time During Scheduled Events
Centennial Plumbing, Heating & Electrical is looking for confident, outgoing individuals to represent our company at a series of high-traffic promotional events in Saskatoon this fall.
This is a trade show-style sales and lead generation position. You will work from a professional promotional display, proactively engage members of the public, introduce them to Centennial’s residential heating and cooling services, and identify homeowners who may be considering an HVAC replacement or upgrade.
Your primary objective will be to create qualified leads and arrange in-home consultations for Centennial’s experienced HVAC sales team.
What You Will Do
- Represent Centennial Plumbing, Heating & Electrical at scheduled promotional events.
- Proactively approach and engage people passing through the promotional area.
- Start friendly, natural conversations without being overly aggressive or pushy.
- Ask questions to identify homeowners who may be considering:
- A new furnace
- A new air conditioner
- A heat pump
- Indoor air quality improvements
- A complete heating and cooling system replacement
- Explain the general benefits of Centennial’s products, services, warranties, and customer experience.
- Collect accurate contact information from interested homeowners.
- Generate qualified leads and arrange in-home consultations.
- Accurately track conversations, leads, and appointments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional promotional display.
- Represent Centennial in a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional manner.
This position does not require you to provide detailed technical advice, calculate pricing, or close the final sale. Our experienced HVAC sales professionals will complete the in-home consultation, assess the homeowner’s needs, and present the available options.

Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, event marketing, brand representation, fundraising, lead generation, appointment setting, or trade shows would be an asset.
HVAC experience is helpful but is not required. Product, company, and program training will be provided.
Position Details
- Position type: Contract position
- Location: Promotional event locations throughout Saskatoon
- Required commitment: Full-time availability during four scheduled multi-day promotional events
- Additional opportunities: Casual or part-time work may be available between and following the required events
- Schedule: Event schedules may include weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- Compensation: $[HOURLY RATE] per hour
- Contract period: Fall 2026, with the possibility of additional future events and promotional work
- Openings: Centennial may hire multiple representatives to provide coverage across the scheduled events
Physical Requirements
The successful candidate must be able to:
- Stand and interact with potential customers for most of the scheduled shift.
- Work at both indoor and outdoor promotional events when required.
- Assist with light setup, organization, and takedown of promotional materials.
