We are seeking a senior accountant who will also assume a team leader role as part of our management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the review and finalization of compilation and review engagement financial statements and the related personal and corporate income tax returns for small business clients with an emphasis on family farms. Training and mentoring staff will be integral to the role.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION
· Pursuing or Achieved CPA designation
· Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in Public Accounting
· Proficiency with CaseWare, TaxPrep, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
· Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
· Enjoys connecting with owner/manager clients
· Shares vision for continuous improvement
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
(Including but not limited to):
a) Provide accounting, tax, and business advisory services with a special focus on family farm and agribusiness clients.
b) Prepare and/or review T1 and T2 income tax returns, financial statements on a
Compilation basis, Harmonized Sales Tax returns, payroll reporting and other financial reports including AgriStability/Agri Invest applications.
c) Provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues, assist in their development, and support efficient delivery of quality accounting services to clients.
d) Develop and contribute to the success of the team by committing to learning and implementation of all company standards, processes and policies that have been
developed for the benefit of both employees and clients. This will include participation in team meetings and the effective resolution of questions, issues, and problems.

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
