Overview
We are looking to hiring part time/seasonal and/or a full time experienced cocktail bartender to join our awesome team at Broken Hill! You'll be working alongside our friendly staff of highly talented individuals at one of the busiest venues in town. Applicants will need to bring experience as a proficient, high-volume bartender, with solid cocktail knowledge, the ability to be calm under pressure and great customer service. Shifts will be a mixture of daytime and evening shifts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, spirits, and beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks accordingly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to promote guest safety.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills during busy shifts to serve multiple guests promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a cocktail bartender
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously through effective time management skills.
- Background in hospitality or food service environments that emphasize customer satisfaction and teamwork.
