Overview
The House Person Supervisor will assist in the leadership of the team members within the housekeeping department. All team leaders will operate under a “hands-on” approach.
Requirements
This is a physically demanding position. Applicants must have the ability to move, lift, carry push and pull objects up to 50lbs. Applicants must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting. Ensure adherence to detail and standards. Must have good communication and time management skills.
Duties
The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Providing direct leadership and training to all areas of the department.
- Inspecting and maintaining all guest rooms as well as common areas around the hotel.
- Preparation of daily work assignments.
- Identify and report all maintenance concerns.
- Develop weekly staff schedules
- Participate in performance reviews and employee management
- Participate in inventory control & product ordering
- Oversee Laundry operations / maintenance
- Greet guests in a professional and polite manner.
- Good communication with all departments within the hotel to ensure fluidity of daily operations.
- Ability to assist in guest room services.
- Assist in maintaining housekeeping equipment.
- Perform full cleaning of guest rooms (change linens, towels, clean washrooms and common areas, garbage, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking of all room amenities).
- Provide any housekeeping service to guest requirements.
- Assist other hotel departments as required.

On-site shared staff accommodation, pending availability for full time employees, for $20-$25/day.
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
