Cybersecurity Manager
Job Summary:
ArcelorMittal Dofasco is committed to maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity throughout our operations. We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Manager to oversee, maintain, and execute our comprehensive cybersecurity strategy through a suite of interconnected tools, techniques, and processes based on industry best practices. This role is central to safeguarding our information and operational technology environments, actively participating in incident detection and response, conducting process and compliance audits, managing perimeter and internal threat protection, overseeing vulnerability management and remediation, and performing technical penetration testing. The manager will also lead and contribute to standardization projects across the Americas region.
Major Responsibilities:
- Plan, estimate, and coordinate cybersecurity projects.
- Lead the planning and execution of operating and capital budgets.
- Provide governance, leadership, and guidance on cybersecurity initiatives.
- Perform assessments against common industry frameworks (ISO 27001, TISAX, NIST 800, etc.) and maintain current certification status.
- Manage tools for storing and analyzing cybersecurity events and landscapes.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new solutions to enhance security posture.
- Promote cybersecurity practices throughout the company and coordinate robust employee training programs.
- Develop strong working relationships with manufacturing and non-manufacturing stakeholders to ensure comprehensive coverage and meaningful engagement in the cybersecurity program.
- Define and maintain security reporting and dashboards targeted at senior management.
- Support security process management across the organization.
- Support compliance work, including SOX and other cybersecurity audit initiatives.
- Support ArcelorMittal Americas cybersecurity strategy.
- Develop and execute cybersecurity awareness through educational programs and ongoing communication.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend cybersecurity technical direction and methods for ArcelorMittal Americas.
- Develop cybersecurity standards, processes, procedures, and policies, and address exceptions as needed.
- Provide mentoring and coaching to individuals and teams.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain a network of internal and external contacts.
- Stay informed on mainstream computer technology through journals, suppliers, presentations, seminars, professional and society meetings, and contacts within and outside of ArcelorMittal.
- Manage a team of cybersecurity professionals.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven leadership experience managing people and cybersecurity technology.
- Beneficial to have:
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- In-depth understanding of cybersecurity and current industry trends.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity in an Operational Technology (OT) or industrial environment is an asset.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and industrial operations
- Strong organizational skills and proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills across all levels.
- Ability to collaborate effectively to prioritize tasks and ensure business value.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address issues while managing cost and risk.
- Exceptional leadership to guide, manage, and motivate staff.
- Proficiency in coaching, mentoring, and managing technical personnel.
- Proven project management competence, especially with large-scale projects.
- Expertise in cybersecurity risk identification, assessment, and management.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Office environment with plant visits as required
- This position is eligible for remote work in accordance with AM Dofasco’s Flexible Work Options Policy.
- Flexibility to determine start / end times outside core hours of work.
- Monday to Friday with extended hours as required to meet project deadlines, peak workloads, or problem resolution.

The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $148,000. Starting salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and work experience.

- Participation in our annual bonus plan based on the achievement of Company goals against target metrics at a rate of 15%
- Company paid Defined Contribution Pension Plan with employer contributions between 5 and 10%. No employee contribution required.
