What you will do
Do you have HVAC Plumbing experience? We are looking for skilled a Journeyperson who have worked in residential, light industrial, and/or light/heavy commercial markets to join our team to work with the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial cutting-edge equipment, systems and our customers.

Must be a skilled craftsperson in their trade, and we prefer a minimum of five (5) years actual, practical working experience in the HVAC plumbing/mechanical equipment service industry. Special consideration will be given to those applicants who also have provincial certification A/B Class – Gasfitter.

Required/Specific Skills
Red Seal Journeyperson Plumbing Ticket with a willingness to pursue an HVAC apprenticeship path and further develop technical expertise in HVAC systems
3+ years of residential / light commercial / heavy commercial mechanical troubleshooting experience.
Ability to perform general building maintenance.
Knowledge of, and experience working with boilers over 400,000 BTU.
Ability to service and install various manufacturers of plumbing mechanical equipment.
Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems
Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors
Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment
Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
Appropriate licenses to work with boiler and steam operational & service knowledge.
Valid class 5 driver's license
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to be on-call as required.
This position is open to union or non-union tradesmen.

Pay Range: $51.96 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
