Ottawa Honda is currently looking for a full time Licensed 310S Automotive Technician to assist with the day to day operations in the Dealership Service Department . Job Summary:
As an Automotive Technician at our dealership, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
310S Certification required.
Duties:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot vehicle problems.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs.
- Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems.
Technical Qualifications and Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Has an ability to multi-task in a high-pressure and fast paced environment.
- Demonstrates an ability to be self-governing, proactive, and responsible for accomplishing company goals without the need for daily coaching or prompting from the location manager.
- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions.
Pay: $34.00-$36.00 per hour
