Overview
We are seeking friendly, attentive, and professional Food and Beverage Servers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and experience in food service. Prior knowledge of POS systems is a plus. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash and process payments accurately through cashiering systems
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed to uphold food safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen duties as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation guidelines
- Manage guest requests promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless guest services
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing purposes
- Experience in hospitality or guest services roles is beneficial but not mandatory; a friendly attitude and willingness to learn are essential
