RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Document designs through technical drawings, schematics, including BOM, ERP software, and written reports.
- Executes mechanical designs using 3D CAD.
- Serves as a resource for product application with sales, designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure coherence.
- Communicates effectively to internal and external customers through the preparation of technical reports, design specifications, operational manuals and machine fabrication packages.
- Assists with the design and development of new products and processes.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Engineering Technologist Diploma or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 0-3 years professional experience
- Machine or product design experience preferred
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) knowledge in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Knowledge of fundamental engineering principles.
- Mathematically and mechanically minded, strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience using 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
- Experience creating technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
