Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with dental office procedures, and proficiency in electronic health records systems. The Dental Assistant t plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth patient experience and supporting the overall operations of the dental office.
Days and hours: STARTING SEPTEMBER 2026
Monday 4-8pm
Tuesday 4-8pm
Thursday 4-8pm
Saturday 8am-5pm
Job Duties Include:
- Follow strict sterilization protocols and keep up-to-date paperwork and required tests flow
- Responsible for ensuring dental rooms are clean after each patient & instruments sterilized
- Setting up dental rooms for scheduled procedures
- Stocking up dental operatories before/after they are used
- Ability and good speed on taking Ortho pics and using 3D scanner (training will be provided if required)
Position Requirements:
- Must be flexible with duties (environmental cleaning, assisting, reception, seating patients, etc.)
- Must be an effective team player and willing to learn
- Must have excellent communication skills, have an upbeat, positive attitude, and enjoy serving patients
- Must be organized, meticulous, and detail-oriented while being able to work efficiently in a fast pace environment
- Must be dedicated to continuous improvement and providing the highest quality of care possible.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with dental software Tracker
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Note: This position is intended for candidates with dental experience. Applicants without dental experience may still be considered; however, if selected for further review, compensation and the hiring process will be adjusted to reflect the additional training required.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
