The Role:
Private markets are transforming the investment landscape, and at IG Wealth Management they are an increasingly important component of delivering differentiated solutions and long-term value to our clients.
As Manager, Private Asset Operations & Analytics, you will join a high-performing team responsible for overseeing the operational infrastructure, governance, reporting, and administration of IG Wealth Management’s growing private markets platform. Working closely with senior leaders across Investments, Corporate Tax, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Legal, and external investment partners, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful management and expansion of our private asset capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and enhance private asset pacing models, cash flow forecasting tools, investment databases, and portfolio monitoring processes.
- Lead the preparation and delivery of reporting, analytics, and presentations for senior management.
- Analyze contributions, distributions, valuations, and investment performance metrics.
- Coordinate onboarding and implementation activities for new private market investments.
- Partner with Compliance, Finance, Legal, Tax, Operations, Technology, and external service providers.
- Support strategic initiatives related to private market product development and business growth.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline.
- 5 years of experience in investment management, asset management or financial services.
- Proficiency in AI tools as well as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with private equity, private credit, infrastructure, or alternative investments.
- CFA, CAIA, CPA or progress toward designation.
- Experience applying AI, Power BI, Python, or other automation tools to improve investment reporting, data quality, dashboarding, or operational processes.
The expected annual base salary range for this role is $77,500 - $105,000, which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual short-term incentive, health and well-being benefits, retirement and savings plan, paid time off and career development.
