Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT professional to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize responsive WordPress websites using themes and plugins.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented PHP code for backend functionality.
- Convert Figma/PSD designs to functional WordPress themes using HTML5/CSS3.
- Enhance user experience with dynamic and interactive front-end features using JavaScript (and jQuery or modern frameworks as needed).
- Optimize website performance (load time, SEO, etc.).
- Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways as required.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and other development team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in WordPress theme and plugin development.
Strong command over:
- PHP – for back-end logic and WordPress core functions.
- HTML5 & CSS3 – for structure and styling.
- Java & Javascript
- Familiarity with MSSQL or similar relational databases.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and AJAX.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms.
Knowledge of website security and best practices.
Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
