Job Title: Nanny / PSW (3 Children)
Position Overview
This role combines childcare with household management, ensuring smooth daily routines, a structured environment, and a clean, well-maintained home. A key priority is providing attentive care to one child with special needs, including ensuring they are prepared first each day. Preference for someone with PSW or nursing background. But all needs are teachable.
Key Responsibilities
Timing
6am to 11am AND 3pm to 7pm. Slightly longer hours through July and August may be required due to kids being home from school.
Childcare & Daily Routine
- Oversee morning routines, ensuring all children are dressed, fed, and ready for school on time. Time management and following specific order and speed of tasks to be completed is essential for mornings to run smoothly without mom at home. Goal is to learn the pace and particulars of busy morning routine in 2 to 3 months of starting to be able to manage the children independently without parents present.
- Provide additional support for one child with special needs. He needs to be fed and ready first. Prioritizing his readiness and comfort is essential for a smooth morning routine. In particular, his feeding timing must adhere to a strict schedule.
- Prepare and pack school lunches daily.
- Dropping children off to bus stop on time.
- Engage children in age-appropriate, screen-free activities that promote creativity, learning, and independence
- Teach and reinforce good manners, routines, and positive behavior. Facilitating age-appropriate self-sufficiency and independence in children by guiding and reinforcing organization, routines and picking after themselves and taking care of their things, practicing good hygiene.
- Assisting in potty training of the youngest child.
- Supervise after-school routines including homework support and downtime
Household Management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy home environment throughout the day
- Handle light housekeeping tasks (tidying common areas, children’s laundry, dishes, meal cleanup).
- Help manage household schedules, calendars, and daily flow
Meal Preparation
- Prepare nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners for the children
- Plan simple, balanced meals and snacks
- Cook and blend feeds for child with feeding tube
Activity Coordination
- Coordinate and manage children’s extracurricular activities
- Assist with transportation to and from school and activities (if required)
- Ensure children are prepared with necessary equipment, uniforms, or materials
- Accompanying parents to medical or therapy appointments for special needs child
Ideal Candidate
- Experience caring for multiple children, including experience with special needs support
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Patient, proactive, and nurturing with a structured approach to routines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with parents
- Ability to create a positive, engaging, and screen-free environment for children
Additional Details
- Must be dependable and punctual
- First Aid/CPR certification
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating structures, supporting child development, and helping a household run smoothly day-to-day.

Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
