Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and forward‑thinking Production/Packaging Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and drive excellence across all production lines. In this leadership role, you will oversee daily and long‑term production performance, ensuring that safety, quality, efficiency, and cost targets are consistently achieved. You will guide and develop a team of supervisors and production staff, champion continuous improvement, and help shape a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
· Lead, mentor, and develop Production Supervisors and frontline teams to achieve departmental goals
· Foster a positive, engaged, and high‑performance culture across all shifts
· Oversee workforce planning, staffing, onboarding, and ongoing employee development
Operational Management
· Direct and coordinate all daily production activities to meet output, quality, and service targets
· Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety regulations, and all company policies
· Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions to address variances
· Maintain an audit‑ready facility with strong adherence to sanitation and safety standards
Continuous Improvement & Strategy
· Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste
· Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for production issues
· Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Quality Assurance, Maintenance and Supply Chain- to optimize workflow and resolve operational challenges
· Contribute to annual budgeting, capacity planning, and long‑term operational strategy
Equipment, Process, & Documentation Oversight
· Ensure equipment reliability by partnering closely with Maintenance team
· Oversee production scheduling, material flow, and inventory usage to support efficient operations
· Review and approve production reports, logs, and performance metrics
· Ensure SOPs, work instructions, and training materials are current and effectively implemented
Qualifications
· Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing or a related production environment
· Proven ability to lead and develop large teams in a fast‑paced, dynamic setting
· Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance
· Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency
· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
· Proficiency with ERP systems, production software, and Microsoft Office
· Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma methodologies is a strong asset
· Ability to interpret production schedules, SOPs, technical documents, and performance data
· Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or multiple shifts as needed

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
