As a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), you will provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients to promote relaxation, relieve stress, and address various medical and physical conditions. You will assess clients' needs, develop customized treatment plans, and deliver high-quality massage therapy services in a professional and compassionate manner.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and consultations to understand clients' health history, conditions, and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs and preferences.
- Perform a variety of massage techniques, such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and trigger point massage.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and lifestyle modifications to enhance treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and treatment notes.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients.
- Adhere to all regulatory and professional standards, including maintaining licensure and continuing education requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, as needed, to support clients' overall well-being.
Qualifications:
- Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) certification from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the regulatory body in the relevant jurisdiction (e.g., College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, for Ontario-based RMTs).
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends.

Pay: $85.00-$95.00 per hour
