ASF Associates Inc. (ASF) is currently seeking Contact Administrator’s(RCCA or P.Eng.) to join our Project Team on large scale Ministry of Transportation (MTO) Infrastructure projects such as highways and bridges. Mandatory Requirements:
- Successfully completed the MTO T131 – Advanced Issues Resolution training prior to July 1, 2021 or successfully completed the MTO T131- Advanced Claims – Dispute Resolution training and have attended the T-131A refresher prior to December 31, 2020.
- Demonstrated Contract Administrator experience on two (2) or more MTO or equivalent projects with at least one (1) having a value of no less than $10,000,000.
- The Contract Administrator shall have graduated from a Civil Engineering Technology / Technologist College Program, and possess the C.Tech. or CET designation, or from a Civil Engineering University Program;
- The Contract Administrator shall be certified by OACETT and possess the Road Construction Contract Administrator (RCCA) designation or certified by PEO as Professional Engineer (P.Eng.);
Additional experience requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Proven organizational, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills;
- Sound knowledge of design standards, OPS Specifications, standard drawings, materials and methods associated with highway/freeway/ATM construction;
- Ability to interpret critical path schedules;
- Administering the terms of the construction contract on behalf of MTO;
- Liaison with MTO and Contractor;
- Preparing, reviewing, and submitting Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports;
- Chairing different required meetings such as Monthly Site Meetings, Pre-Start Meetings with the Contractor etc.;
- Providing supervision and guidance to the inspectors and other field staff;
- Ensuring and promoting ongoing adherence to health and safety policies on site in accordance with applicable health and safety regulations;
- Ensuring ongoing effective communication between clients, contractors and consultants;
- Analyzing and making recommendations to the MTO for all matters including Contractor Information and Compensation requests, Monthly Status Reports, Change Orders, Claims, Negotiations, Change Proposals, design and construction matters encountered on the construction contract etc;
- Preparing Payment Progress Certificate, Instruction Notices to the Contractor, Change Orders etc.;
- Reviewing Information requests, compensation requests, claims, Change Proposals etc. and making recommendations;
- Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as needed;
- A valid Ontario’s driver license with an acceptable driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
