The selected candidate will be responsible for estimating and managing earthworks projects within our Trucking Division. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the project's full scope, working closely with the field operations team. Key duties include submitting approved bid proposals for civil earthworks projects, initiating projects, ensuring efficient scheduling and resource management (including crews, equipment, and subcontractors), and providing regular project status updates to both the team and clients. Additionally, the candidate must foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
Responsibilities:

Quantity Take-offs: Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for projects

Estimating Costs: Develop accurate cost estimates for projects

Managing Project Startups: Oversee the initiation of projects, ensuring all necessary steps are taken

Efficient Scheduling and Management of Resources: Coordinate and manage crews, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution

Regular Communication: Maintain regular communication of project status to the project team and the client

Maintaining Positive Relationships: Foster and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients

Reviewing Project and Bid Performance: Analyze and review the performance of projects and bids

Daily Progress and Cost Tracking: Monitor and track daily progress and costs to ensure project efficiency

Ensuring Effective Project Progression: Ensure the efficient and effective progression of the project

Invoicing and Collection: Work closely with administrative staff to complete invoicing and collect outstanding receivables
