As a Certified Pharmacy Technician with Northway Pharmacy, you play an essential role in supporting safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care. This position allows you to fully use your professional scope—from prescription preparation and final checking to automation-supported compliance packaging—while working alongside a collaborative team that values growth, learning, and doing meaningful work together.

What You’ll Do (and Why It Matters)
You will support pharmacists and pharmacy teams by ensuring prescriptions are prepared, verified, and delivered accurately and efficiently—helping patients receive the care they need with confidence and peace of mind. Your role will include:
- Preparing, processing, and distributing prescriptions in collaboration with pharmacists and support staff.
- Completing final prescription checks within your approved scope of practice at a CPhM-approved verification site.
- Supporting compliance packaging, including the use of automated systems, to help patients manage their medications safely and effectively.
- Being cross-trained across pharmacy operations, allowing you to step into different roles as needed to support workflow and patient care.
- Providing friendly, professional customer service that makes patients feel welcome, respected, and supported.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and following regulatory, legal, and professional standards.
- Contributing to a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment.
- Supporting a positive team culture by communicating respectfully, collaborating effectively, and fostering continuous learning.

Skills & Qualifications
- Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) with a PEBC-recognized license and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (CPhM).
- A patient-first mindset, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and safety.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Organized, efficient, and adaptable, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced pharmacy setting.
- Experience with Kroll Pharmacy Software is an asset.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, pharmacy assistant, or technician role is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
Operational Hours & Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Sunday: Closed
- Shifts rotate on a schedule
- Work an average rotation of 1 in 3 weekends.
- Wages are based on experience

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour
