POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Bartender, you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience, crafting drinks with precision, personality, and speed. You’ll bring energy and confidence to every interaction, helping guests discover their new favourite cocktail, beer, or arcade game.
Beyond pouring drinks, you’ll ensure the bar stays clean, stocked, and comply with ProServe and AGLC regulations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives under pressure, loves creating memorable moments, and can balance fun with professionalism behind the bar
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Possess 1-3 years of hands-on experience bartending in a fast paced, high volume bar

Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and bar equipment

Ability in upselling premium drinks and recommending new products to enhance guest satisfaction and boost sales

Confidence and charisma in guest interactions - you're not just pouring drinks, you’re creating moments

Ability to calmly handle guest concerns or manage difficult situations, including de-escalating conflicts when needed

Ability to maintain accuracy in measurements, recipes, and alcohol limits even during high-volume periods

Quickly adapt to changing service demands and shift priorities while maintaining a positive attitude.

Have outstanding time management abilities, adeptly juggling multiple tasks while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail

Handle physical demands including lifting and reaching, regularly lifting objects up to 50 pounds such as kegs, bending to serve food, and reaching to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Must possess valid ProServe certification or be willing to obtain prior to first shift.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Create exceptional guest experiences through attentive service and a friendly demeanor.

Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, and other beverages with speed, accuracy, and style

Educate guests about our diverse drink selection, assisting them in choosing the perfect beverage to complement their experience.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, tools, and glassware

Provide simple instructions on arcade game operation and recommend popular choices to enhance guest enjoyment.Execute opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, restocking, and shift handover

Share the origins and flavors of our authentic international street food options, adding depth to the dining experience.

Assist with stock rotation and expiry checks, and promptly communicate low inventory or ordering needs.

Maintain a high level of accuracy and honesty in cash handling and POS transactions

Collaborate with team members to keep service smooth, efficient, and fun

Check guest ID when required and monitor guest behavior to ensure safe alcohol consumption and compliance with AGLC and ProServe standards.

Assist with monthly inventory, restocking, and daily bar prep as needed
AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS

This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Typical shifts range between 4–8 hours and may extend into late night hours.
