Overview
Victoria Pest Detective is seeking a Licensed Pest Control Technician to join our team (Structural Pesticide Applicator Certificate required). This role involves inspecting, treating, and preventing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. Prior experience in pest control is a must.
This is initially a seasonal position, however, there is a possibility of long term employment depending on business growth and the applicants performance.

Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and entry points
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using hand tools, power tools, and an array of specialized products as needed
- Utilize knowledge of pest behavior to develop effective treatment plans
- Educate clients on pest prevention methods and provide recommendations for ongoing maintenance
- Maintain detailed records of treatments performed and follow-up schedules
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations during service delivery
- Assist with sales by explaining services and upselling additional treatments when appropriate
Experience
- Prior experience in pest control is required.
- Sales experience or comfort with customer interactions is advantageous
- Knowledge of pest species, treatment methods, and safety procedures is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
